Preparation of the installation

Please check if connections from the web client (user) to the ProcMan server and from the ProcMan server to the z/OS, to DB2 database and LDAP are open and working.

Also verify if the LDAP server at z/OS is started (standard STC name is GLDRV) and configured for RACF. ProcMan makes the RACF authentication via LDAP.

Please note and maybe report to HORIZONT consultant:

• The alias name of the DB2connect connection (DNS/IP, port, database name)

• The technical user id for the database access

• The qualifier of the table names

• The technical user id for the HORIZONT TCPIP communication task HORISRV

• The technical user id for the IWSz access (AD und CP)

• The technical user id for the Control-M access

• Control-M handover: Some extra reports must be defined.

• IP addresses und ports of: ProcMan Server, z/OS systems including HORILST, database and LDAP server.

• IP address (or DNS name) and port of the SMTP server and a valid user for the SMTP authentication.
