The Web Server restart can be initiated only by a user which is logged in in the ROOT client as an administrator. It provides an administrator with the possibility to restart the Web Server, without a need to login on the system where the Web Server is running, for to initiate the restart. The restart cannot be done for particular clients but only in a global scope (the whole ProcMan). Beware also that if on the Web Server are more than one virtual Web Servers running (for more than one ProcMan installations or other web applications) the restart applies for the whole Web Server (means for all virtual Web Servers). There is currently no way to restart only a single virtual Web Server.
The restart can be started by clicking the Web Server Restart menu item. While the restart is being processed, which should not take longer than a minute, a message about it is displayed (see picture below) and the user has to wait, without any action in ProcMan.
After the restart has been successfully done the ProcMan’s default start page (currently the Work list) will be automatically displayed.
